To educate oncology nursing professionals and social workers about the impact of cancer and cancer therapies on sexuality and intimacy issues in cancer survivors |

At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Discuss sexuality and intimacy issues with cancer survivors and their roles in quality of life in cancer survivorship
- Describe the impact that cancer, cancer therapies, and the side effects of these therapies have on sexuality and intimacy
- Compare the specific needs of varying patient populations
- Explain the PLISSIT method of approaching sexuality and intimacy issues of cancer survivors
- List information resources on sexuality and intimacy issues

Approval for nurses has been obtained by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's national office under Provider Number CEP 5832 to award 0.5 continuing education contact hours through the California Board of Registered Nursing; for social workers under Provider Number 1105 to award 0.5 contact hours through the Association of Social Work Boards. |
